Under this ongoing research, public spaces and parks in Biratnagar are being mapped to identify the best suitable position to construct the solar-powered city rickshaw stand near public space.

Furthermore, key informants, focus group discussions and in-person interviews with the rickshaw riders, and the association of the rickshaw riders have been conducted to understand battery usage, current charging practice and monthly bills paid by the electric city rickshaw.
