To implement Nepal Climate Change Policy-2076 and Nepal's 2nd Nationally Determined contribution at the local level Biratnagar Metropolitan City and Digo Bikas Institute have come up with a Green City Volunteer Program (GCV). 38 Youths between the age group 15-22 (one male and one female from each ward) ensuring ethnic diversity will be selected in the first cohort of GCV.
GCV will receive training, research engagement, exposure visit, and a community project on 5 themes.
