To address the water shortage and provide water for irrigation purposes, the Dhapsung water supply was initiated as per the needs of the Dhapsung community. The Dhapsung water user community was formed by the people of the Dhapsung community, and the community itself oversaw the construction, quality of the material, and conducted the monitoring and evaluation of the water supply project. The water supply will benefit 53 households of Dhapsung village.
Construction of Dhapsung water-supply
The project construction was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and could not be completed on time. The DBI team will be working to provide a water tap to individual households in 2021 once all the construction work related to water supply and water supply pipe fitting is completed.
