Digo Bikas Institute supported Dhapsung Women’s group members with different varieties of vegetable seeds from local agriculture cooperatives and helped to build a collective greenhouse tunnel for the cultivation of the vegetables.

The vegetables from the Dhapsung village were sold to Kathmandu organics, a Kathmandu based company that sells organic products nationwide. For the sale of the vegetables, Dhapsung women’s group received 25,000 NPR. Dhapsung Women’s group is excited and motivated to engage in vegetable farming after their product has received a buyer.
