DBI Clean Energy Future Initiative

The community electrification with solar mini grid is one of the great way to power rural Nepal. Renewable energy mini-grids have huge potential to contribute to the Nepal government’s Power need. The benefits being reliable electrification in hundreds of suitable villages, as well as mitigating significant greenhouse gas emissions.

Liveable Cities Initiative

The first Carfree Day in Kopche, Dhankuta on 8th November 2025 saw the street become a dynamic public place for connection and reflection, which was brought to life with traditional games, cultural showcases, and authentic food stalls, culminating in a communal Newari Bhoj right on the chowk.
