Expression of Interest (EOI) for Expression of Interest (EOI): Nepali Dubbing of “The Economics of Happiness”.

Digo Bikas Institute invites qualified media houses, dubbing studios, or individual professionals to submit proposals for the professional Nepali dubbing and language refinement of the award-winning 68-minute documentary, “The Economics of Happiness” (produced by Local Futures)

Scope of Work

The selected firm/studio/company shall undertake the following tasks:

1) Review and Correction of Nepali Translation

  • Review the existing Nepali translated script/subtitle text.
  • Correct grammar, spelling, sentence flow, terminology, and contextual meaning.
  • Ensure the language is natural, clear, audience-friendly, and aligned with the tone of the documentary.
  • Maintain accuracy of original English meaning.

2) Voice Assessment and Casting Plan  

  • Carefully review the documentary.
  • Identify total number of voice artists required based on speakers, narration style, gender, tone, and character distinctions.
  • Recommend voice allocation plan (main narrator, male/female speakers, supporting voices, etc.).
  • Submit final voice artist list for approval before recording.

3) Voice Recording and Dubbing

  • Arrange voice artists.
  • Record clean studio-quality Nepali voice track
  • Synchronize dubbing with visuals and speaking pace.
  • Maintain emotional tone, and authenticity of original documentary.

 

4) Editing, Mixing and Final Output

  • Mix dubbed audio with background music/effects.
  • Deliver broadcast-ready final master file.

    2. VAT Registration Certificate
    3. Tax Clearance Certificate
    4. Company Profile (Work sample reference)
    5. Brief proposed methodology, work plan, and timeline
    6. Financial quotation (Lump sum, inclusive of all applicable costs)
