COP 30 Side Event

Digo Bikas Institute, together with NIDWAN and SAMATA, organized the UNFCCC COP 30 official side event on the topic “ANOTHER ROUND OF NDCS: BUT WHERE’S THE MONEY?”. The event included sharing from Nepal, including panelists Claire Miranda, APMDD; Thilak Kariyawasam, FIAN, Sri Lanka; Pratima Gurung, NIDWAN, Nepal; Pavel Partha, BARCIK, Bangladesh; R. Ravi of Samata, India & was moderated by Prayash Adhikari, Digo Bikas Institute, Nepal.

Speakers share their engagements on the NDC process, lived realities from the grassroots community, highlighting the need for Adequate, New, Additional, non-debt-creating climate finance, without which the crisis will exacerbate and the discussion will be limited to papers and commitments.
