The “Orientation on Solid Waste Management” was successfully conducted on 30th August 2025 with our Green City Volunteer 2nd Cohort. Mr. Punam Dahal, Chief Officer of the Waste Management & Cleanliness Branch, Biratnagar Metropolitan, shared key actions, principles, and ongoing efforts in Biratnagar’s waste management, highlighting the vital role of youth. Mrs. Madhu Rai also inspired volunteers with insights on community-led waste initiatives and how children, youth, and local groups can turn waste into reusable resources for a cleaner community.
