Digo Bikas Institute team joined a two-day car-free cities alliance strategy meeting in Bandipur. The aim of the meeting was to review the work of the car-free cities alliance globally and of the Nepal chapter. The strategy meeting was attended by the representatives from member organizations based in India, Bangladesh and the Netherlands. The meeting helped define working modality for the CCA core team and identify approaches to coordinate with countries and cities that are involved in Car Free development on different scales globally. The meeting was conducted in Bandipur, one of the more popular Car Free destinations in Nepal, where a meeting was also arranged between the mayor of the municipality and the CCA team.

The strategy meeting worked to define objectives, vision, the base for toolkit/platforms, CCA brand and website, Carfree-climate campaign strategy, projects and programs, funding, core team management functions and action plans for the coming year.
