To implement Nepal’s Climate Change Policy-2076 and the country’s 2nd Nationally Determined Contribution at the local level, Biratnagar Metropolitan City and Digo Bikas Institute have developed a Green City Volunteer Program (GCV). 38 Youths aged 15-22 (one male and one female from each ward), to ensure ethnic diversity, were selected for GCV.
