We’re excited to share that a two-day Climate Change Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (VRA) from right to food perspective was successfully completed in Belauri Municipality, jointly organized by Digo Bikas Institute (DBI) and Food First International Network–Nepal (FIAN). 🙌
With the active participation of municipal officials, local representatives, and community members, the assessment helped identify key climate hazards, and issues vulnerable groups, and livelihoods most at risk. 💧🌾
Together, we strengthened local understanding of how climate change impacts our communities — and highlighted the importance of integrating right to food and food sovereignty into participatory planning for a climate resilient future leading to the recommendation of community owned adaptation options 🌍✨
