We successfully organized an engaging panel session, “Debunking the Myths on Climate Justice” during the 5th National Youth Mega Meet 2025 at Pragya Pratisthan, Kathmandu, on the occasion of International Youth Day.
The panel brought the five diverse voices: Pratima Gurung from the National Indigenous Disabled Women Association Nepal (NIDWAN), Abhishek Shrestha from the Fight Inequality Alliance (FIA), Laxmi Bhandari from the National Farmers Group Federation (NFGF), Naren Khatiwada from Youth Advocacy Nepal (YAN), and Omkar from Digo Bikas Institute (DBI) – with the moderation from Susmita Baidawar from Digo Bikas Institute (DBI).
From the perspectives of women, Youth, Indigenous leaders, people with disabilities, farmers, grassroots and global movements, activists, we challenged the false solutions and the false narrative of Climate Justice, promoting people-led, community-owned, justice-oriented climate solutions.
A huge thanks to all panelists, participants and collaborators for joining us in the collective effort to fight for Climate Justice.
