Omkar Subedi

Omkar Subedi is a climate justice activist and the Campaign and Communication Officer at the Digo Bikas Institute. He is actively engaged in grassroots movements advocating for climate justice, with a strong focus on ensuring a just energy transition to 100% renewable energy. Omkar pushes for a rapid and equitable fossil fuel phase-out and consistently calls out false solutions that undermine real climate solutions. He is a bachelor’s graduate in Forestry from Kathmandu Forestry College with a strong passion for climate change and sustainability.
