Ranjan Raj Dahal

Ranjan is an Environmental Science graduate from Tribhuvan University with over 2 years of experience in research as a research assistant at the Resources Himalaya Foundation and prior experience in Environmental Assessments as well. He has a strong dedication to climate action and activism as well. He is passionate about biodiversity conservation as well as evidence-based policy advocacy.
Equipped with a solid academic background, he has delved into research, honing skills in data analysis, experimentation, and fieldwork. Beyond academia, his volunteer engagement with Nepalese Youth in Climate Action has allowed him to effectively communicate complex ideas and inspire sustainable change in climate change advocacy at the local level in Nepal.
With a profound belief that impactful change arises from scientific insights, he is exploring the evidence-based policy advocacy approach. Biodiversity conservation is a cornerstone of his passion. He aims to explore innovative approaches to protecting Earth’s intricate ecosystems and their inhabitants through research.
