Mandip Shah

Mandip Shah is the Koshi Province Coordinator at Digo Bikas Institute in Biratnagar, where he drives key initiatives focused on environmental sustainability, climate change, and community development. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Purbanchal University, blending his technical expertise with a strong commitment to social impact in the civil society sector.

With over four years of volunteer experience, Mandip’s passion for climate action and environmental stewardship was sparked by his early work in various fields, which inspired him to advocate for sustainable change and address the ongoing climate crisis at the local level. As a former Network Coordinator for Nepalese Youth for Climate Action – Biratnagar, he collaborated with diverse groups, NGOs, and INGOs to promote environmental consciousness and action.

Mandip is dedicated to motivating and empowering youth to take responsibility for the environment and to advocate for a green, clean, and livable future for all. His expertise in community engagement and environmental policy is evident in his efforts to create sustainable urban environments, working closely with local governments, youth, and organizations to make a lasting impact.

Outside of his professional work, Mandip is deeply interested in exploring nature, conducting research, and engaging in creative endeavors. His love for nature is a driving force behind his dedication to preserving the environment for future generations.
